The rings allow the bags to be correctly positioned, to receive the stream of air purged for the purpose of providing a jerking movement to the bag, which causes the dust particles to get deposited in the bag house. Frequent impact on the cages, due to the purging of air, sometimes causes failure of welding of the rings. Rings being fabricated out of rods, any failure of welding invariably would lead to the same opening up, thus causing another damage on the costly bags. A damaged bag drastically brings down the efficiency of the whole system, some times defeating the very purpose for which it is installed. Hence it is very much essential that the design & construction of a system should have in-built features, safeguarding the system from total failure, in the event of poor performance of a component used in the system. It was in this context, " aircon "came out with a unique product - spiracages - which is an advanced version of cages used in the bag filters. Spiracages being fabricated out of stiffeners & a single spiral ring to the entire length of cage neither loses its shape nor causes any damage to the bags, even in the worst case of failure of weldment. The welded joints being inside the cage, there is absolutely no chance for the same to be in contact with the filter bags thus eliminating even the remote chance of bag getting damaged during installation, operation or periodic maintenance, which is an added advantage of spiracages.

Aircon scrubbers are air pollution control devices that use a high-energy liquid spray to remove aerosol and gaseous pollutants from an air stream. The gases are removed either by absorption or chemical reaction. In addition to fume and gas abatement, scrubbers may be used for process air cleaning and dust collection.

The gases that are emitted from the combustion process are passed through tanks containing a lime substance (often a limestone slurry) that can capture and neutralize the sulfur dioxide. scrubbers are differentiated by the manner in which they remove gases and particulates from the air; either wet or dry. Wet scrubbers literally wash dust and particles out of the air. Exhaust air is forced into a spray chamber, where fine water particles cause the dust to drop from the air stream. The dust-laden water is then treated to remove the solid material and is often recirculated.  Dry scrubbers are used more commonly with acid gases. The pollutant is collected on or in a solid or liquid material, which is injected into the gas stream. A dry scrubber produces a dry product that must be collected downstream from this control device.
